Introduction
KL-finned Tube is a high-bonding-strength, high-temperature-resistant composite finned tube manufactured using a dual process of "brazing + mechanical rolling". It is widely used in boilers, air preheaters, waste heat recovery, petrochemical heaters and other applications where high heat exchange efficiency and service life are required.
Advantages
Higher Fin Bonding Strength
The KL-finned Tube achieves double fixation between the fin roots and the base tube through a combination of brazing and mechanical clamping.
More Stable Heat Exchange Efficiency
The brazing process results in a more uniform contact surface between the fins and the base tube, reducing thermal resistance, while mechanical clamping further enhances the fit.
Corrosion Resistance
The brazed layer seals the micro-slits at the fin roots, reducing crevice corrosion caused by flue gas and moisture entering the fin bottom.
Manufacturing Process
L-shaped Fin Initial Rolling
L-shaped fins are initially mechanically rolled to the outer wall of the base tube, achieving the first stage of physical bonding.
Brazing Treatment
Metal brazing filler metal is used to uniformly braze the fin roots, forming a continuous metal connection layer between the fins and the base tube.
Mechanical Compaction
After brazing, mechanical compaction is performed again to firmly embed the fins into the surface of the base tube.
Straightening and Outer Diameter Calibration
The finned tubes are straightened and their dimensions controlled to ensure consistent fin height and spacing.
Quality Inspection
Each tube is inspected for key indicators such as fin bonding strength, outer diameter, and brazing quality to ensure consistency.
Packaging and Transportation
Packaging Method: Products are wrapped in moisture-proof film + protected fins with anti-collision pads + customized wooden crates or steel pallets. Layered partitions are used in the fin area to prevent compression and deformation.
Transportation Method: We support sea, land, and air freight. Full container load (FCL) or less-than-container load (LCL) options are available depending on the order volume. We provide full moisture and rust protection throughout the entire process to ensure stable delivery even in long-distance transportation environments.
