HH-finned Tube

HH-finned Tube

HH-finned tube is a type of heat exchanger element. It usually consists of two tubes and a number of closely spaced fins, which can be fixed to the tubes or seamlessly connected to the tubes. The shape of these fins usually presents a double "H" shape, hence the name HH-type finned tube.

Introduction

HH-finned Tube is a bimetallic composite welded finned tube widely used in high-requirement applications such as air coolers, boilers, and petrochemical heat exchangers.

Products Advantages

Improved Heat Transfer Efficiency

The HH structure employs a double-layer high-fin design, increasing the air-side heat transfer area and enhancing turbulence, thereby improving the overall heat transfer coefficient.

Corrosion Resistance
The outer fins can be made of stainless steel/nickel-based materials, resistant to corrosion from chloride ions, sulfides, etc.

Prevention of Fin Detachment
The fins and base tube are bonded using high-energy welding or composite rolling welding processes, resulting in high bonding strength and long-term stable operation at high temperatures of 400–550°C.

Manufacturing Process of HH-Finned Tube

We employ a process route of bimetallic composite welding + multi-pass precision rolling.

The process includes:

Raw material inspection

Tube straightening

High fins forming

Dual-H composite assembling

Automated welding / roll-bonding

Laser online measurement

Finishing and full-size testing

Each process step ensures:

High fin weld strength

Fin height and pitch accuracy (±0.1mm)

Batch consistency and long-term operational stability

Packaging & Shipping

Utilizing moisture-proof film, port protection caps, layered partitions, and reinforced wooden crates/steel frames to prevent fin deformation or corrosion during transportation.

Supports FOB/CIF/DDP and offers various shipping methods including sea, land, and air freight.
