Rolled Finned Tube

Rolled Finned Tube

Rolled finned tube, also known as rolled finned tube, is a commonly used process for manufacturing aluminum and copper finned tubes. It uses a unique extrusion process to tightly combine the base tube and fins to increase their surface area. , improve heat transfer efficiency, thereby achieving good heat exchange effect.

Introduction

Rolled Finned Tube is a high-efficiency heat exchange element that uses mechanical rolling to firmly press metal fins onto the surface of a base tube. It is suitable for industrial applications that require improved heat exchange efficiency, such as boilers, condensers, and waste heat recovery systems.

Products Advantages

High heat exchange efficiency

The fins are tightly pressed to the base tube using mechanical rolling, significantly reducing contact thermal resistance.

High fin bonding strength

The rolling process creates a "work-hardened zone" at the fin root, improving structural strength and enhancing the mechanical locking effect.

Good corrosion resistance

The base tube can be made of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and nickel alloys. The fins are joined using a non-welded method, eliminating the heat-affected zone (HAZ) and avoiding the corrosion weaknesses common in welded fins.

Manufacturing Process

Mechanical Roll Forming

Using specialized roll forming equipment, metal fins are uniformly pressed into the surface of the base tube under high pressure, achieving a tight mechanical bond.

Precision Straightening and Sizing

After roll forming, straightening and outer diameter calibration are performed to ensure uniform fins and a straight tube body, meeting the requirements for subsequent assembly and welding.

Final Inspection

A combination of manual and automated inspection methods is used to check fin height, spacing, bonding strength, and surface defects, ensuring consistent finished product quality.

Packaging and Transportation

Packaging Method: We use a moisture-proof film and secure the product in a shock-absorbing wooden crate/steel frame pallet. Layered partitions protect the fins to prevent bending or wear during transport.

Transportation Method: We support sea, land, and air freight. Full container load (FCL) or less than container load (LCL) shipments are available depending on the order volume. We provide comprehensive moisture and rust protection to ensure the safe arrival of your product.
